The iBP application serves as a comprehensive self-monitoring tool for blood pressure management, providing users with an intuitive platform for browsing and archiving their readings. It offers detailed statistical analyses, including systolic and diastolic event frequencies, percentage distributions, incident counts during day and night periods, and trend reports spanning from January to December.

Key features include:

• Statistics on low blood pressure occurrences.
• Hypertension reminders to alert users of abnormal readings.
• Detailed analysis of systolic and diastolic blood pressure events, including percentages and counts for different times of day.
• Classification of blood pressure readings into four numerical ranges:

1. Systolic:
   • Normal: below 120 mmHg
   • Prehypertension: 120-139 mmHg
   • S1 Hypertension: 140-159 mmHg
   • S2 Hypertension: above 160 mmHg
2. Diastolic:
   • Normal: below 80 mmHg
   • Prehypertension: 80-89 mmHg
   • S1 Hypertension: 90-99 mmHg
   • S2 Hypertension: above 100 mmHg
3. Pulse Rate:
   • Low: below 60 bpm
   • Normal: 60-99 bpm
   • High: above 100 bpm

The application provides six trend categories for analyzing systolic and diastolic data over time, facilitating pattern recognition. Users can record various vital parameters such as systolic, diastolic, pulse rate, and additional notes.

The app also supports comprehensive data management functionalities, including addition, modification, and deletion of blood pressure records. Data can be transmitted via email or exported in text (TXT) or CSV formats—allowing easy integration into other programs or detailed analysis with spreadsheet software. Archive functionality helps maintain optimal app performance by removing outdated data.
